Our client is a successful, internationally operating business looking to appoint a talented Management Accountant to join its growing finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant seeking a broad role that combines technical accounting, commercial business partnering and process improvement within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Working closely with the Financial Controller and wider business, you'll play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting while supporting operational and strategic decision-making across multiple entities.
Key Responsibilities
* Preparation of monthly management accounts for the business and associated entities.
* Produce detailed Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow reports, supported by meaningful analysis.
* Prepare funding requests, cash flow forecasts and ad hoc financial reporting.
* Business partner with operational and project teams, providing financial insight to support commercial decisions.
* Monitor cash positions and prepare regular cash flow projections.
* Oversee and manage the outsourced finance function.
* Support the Financial Controller in enhancing financial controls, systems and reporting processes.
* Liaise with external auditors and provide financial information throughout the audit process.
* Prepare and review quarterly VAT returns and assist with statutory and regulatory reporting requirements.
* Research VAT and tax matters where required.
* Deliver accurate, timely and insightful financial information to senior stakeholders.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will be a proactive and commercially minded finance professional with excellent technical accounting skills and the confidence to challenge existing processes.
You will ideally possess:
* ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualification
* Strong management accounting and financial reporting experience.
* Advanced Excel skills.
* Experience using NetSuite, Oracle, SAP or another leading ERP system.
* Multi-currency accounting experience.
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
* A continuous improvement mindset with the ability to influence positive change.
