Office Junior / Electrical Contract Administrator
Location: Chigwell, Essex
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
Salary: National Minimum Wage (dependent on age)
About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Office Junior to join our busy electrical contracting office in Chigwell. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in administration within the construction and electrical industry.
Working closely with our Contracts Managers and Office Team, you will provide administrative support to ensure the smooth running of day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Answering incoming telephone calls and emails professionally.
* Filing, scanning and organising office documents.
* Assisting with the preparation of quotations, invoices and job documentation.
* Scheduling engineers and updating work diaries.
* Liaising with clients, suppliers and subcontractors.
* Ordering office supplies and materials when required.
* Maintaining accurate records and updating company databases.
* Assisting with health & safety paperwork and compliance documents.
* General office administration and support to the contracts team.
Requirements
* Good communication and organisational skills.
* Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
* Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
* Good attention to detail.
* Positive attitude with the ability to work as part of a team.
* Punctual, reliable and professional.
