Junior Client Accountant (AAT Level 4) | Eastbourne | £30,000 – £35,000
If you're AAT qualified, enjoy client work and want a clear route into managing your own portfolio, this is a good one to look at.
A growing, forward-thinking practice in Eastbourne is looking for an AAT Level 4 accountant to join their accounts team and support the Client Managers. The firm is expanding through organic growth and acquisition, and there's a genuine pathway here from Junior Client Accountant through to Client Manager as your experience builds.
You'll get real variety, hands-on client contact and the kind of exposure that helps you grow rather than keeping you stuck on one task.
What you'll be doing:
Preparing statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
Preparing corporation tax computations and supporting schedules
Handling bookkeeping reviews and VAT returns
Producing monthly and quarterly management accounts
Preparing Self Assessment returns and liaising with HMRC where needed
Building strong relationships with a portfolio of owner-managed businesses
What's on offer:
Salary of £30,000 – £35,000 depending on experience
A clear progression path: Junior Client Accountant to Client Accountant to Client Manager
Study support where applicable, including ACCA or ACA
Company pension and private healthcare after probation
Ongoing training and a modern, cloud-based (Xero) working environment
Full-time, Monday to Friday
Ideal for someone with a couple of years' practice experience who's ready to take more ownership and build a long-term career.
