The Supply Register is recruiting Primary Supply Teaching Assistants to support schools within the Greenwood Academies Trust in Skegness.
We offer a range of day‑to‑day, short‑term, and longer‑term opportunities, ideal for experienced support staff looking for flexible work.
⚠️ Important Requirement
This role is only suitable for candidates with previous experience working with children in education or care settings.
Experience supporting pupils with SEN is highly desirable.
About the Role
As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you’ll support pupils across primary settings, including those with additional needs, helping to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Roles may include:
General classroom support
Small group work
1:1 support for pupils with SEN
Acting as a key adult where required
Key Responsibilities
Support teaching and learning in primary classrooms
Provide 1:1 and small‑group support, including for SEN pupils
Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery
Help maintain a calm, structured, and inclusive environment
Promote positive behaviour and engagement
Support pupils’ social and emotional development
What We’re Looking For
Experience working with children or young people (essential)
Experience supporting pupils with SEN (highly desirable)
Strong communication and behaviour‑management skills
A patient, adaptable, and proactive approach
Confidence working in primary settings
A valid DBS (or willingness to apply)
This Role Is Not Suitable If:
You have never worked with children
You are seeking non‑education roles
You are not comfortable supporting SEN pupils
You cannot commit to school working hours
