Job Description

Vision for Education is seeking dedicated, enthusiastic and adaptable Primary Teachers baed in Colchester, who are passionate about making a positive difference in the classroom.

We are looking for professionals who can quickly build positive relationships with pupils and staff, maintain high standards of teaching, and confidently adapt to different school environments. As a Primary Supply Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons in your preferred age range, whether that is EYFS, Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2, ensuring pupils remain motivated and continue making progress in the absence of their regular class teacher. You'll quickly build positive relationships with pupils and staff while maintaining high standards of behaviour and learning.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of primary year groups.
Create a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment.
Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
Adapt your teaching style to meet the needs of different learners.
Mark work where required and provide clear feedback.
Build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and school leaders.
Follow safeguarding and health and safety procedures at all times.

Requirements

To be considered for the role, you will:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
Have recent experience teaching within a UK primary school.
Be confident delivering lessons across the primary curriculum.
Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills.
Be flexible, reliable and able to adapt to different school environments.
Hold, or be willing to obtain, an enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service.
Provide suitable references covering recent employment.
