keep our nursery clean, safe, and welcoming for children, families

The role:

As Nursery
Housekeeper, you will help maintain the highest standards of
cleanliness and hygiene throughout the nursery. Responsibilities
include:

Cleaning and
maintaining playrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and communal
areas

Sweeping,
mopping, dusting, sanitising surfaces, and emptying
bins

Cleaning and
disinfecting children's bathrooms, nappy changing areas, and
high-touch surfaces

Supporting
laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and
organising nursery linen

Assisting with
washing up and maintaining cleanliness within kitchen
areas

Using cleaning
products and equipment safely and appropriately

Monitoring
cleaning stock levels and reporting replenishment
requirements

Following Health
& Safety, COSHH, infection control, and safeguarding
procedures at all times

Supporting
periodic deep cleaning tasks as required

Working closely
with the nursery team to ensure a safe and welcoming
environment for all

Desirable:

Previous
cleaning or housekeeping experience

Knowledge of
safe cleaning practices and COSHH procedures

Experience
working in a nursery, school, healthcare, or similar
environment
