BigID Engineer- 6-Month Contract - London(Inside IR35)

Contracting role based in London (Hybrid, 2-3 days in office) for a 6-month engagement, working on enterprise data governance, privacy and security transformation programmes. You will be responsible for end-to-end implementation and configuration of the BigID platform, enabling secure data discovery, classification, and retention across complex, multi-source data environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and configure the BigID platform and its modules across enterprise data environments
• Develop data ingestion pipelines for scanning and retention
• Configure connectors for databases, cloud platforms, SaaS applications, and file systems
• Enable data discovery, classification, and tagging across structured and unstructured sources
• Onboard new data sources and integrate pipelines into existing workflows
• Implement and manage data retention policies and workflows
• Optimise scan performance and resolve technical issues

What You Will Ideally Bring:

• Hands-on experience with the BigID platform - essential
• Strong data engineering and ETL pipeline experience
• Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Solid understanding of data governance and privacy principles
• Experience with OneTrust or Collibra - desirable

• Duration: 12 months
• Rate: £510day (Inside IR35)
• Location: London(3 days per week)
• Start Date: ASAP
