Project Manager – Civil Engineering & Renewables

Take ownership of major infrastructure projects. Influence a growing business. Build your career.

An award-winning civil engineering and renewables contractor is looking for a Project Manager to join its growing team. With a strong pipeline of secured work across major energy and renewables clients, rail infrastructure, and local authority frameworks, this is an excellent opportunity to join a business that's going from strength to strength.

You'll have the opportunity to take ownership of projects, make key decisions, and see the direct impact of your work. This isn't a role where you're one of many Project Managers—your expertise will be valued, your ideas welcomed, and your contribution will help shape the continued success of the business.

Working across rail, renewables, and civil engineering projects, you'll manage the full project lifecycle from tender through to completion, delivering technically interesting projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Why Join?

Ownership – Manage projects from tender through to handover with genuine responsibility.
Variety – Deliver projects across renewables, rail infrastructure, and public sector civils.
Progression – Join a growing business with clear opportunities to develop your career.
Influence – Be part of a close-knit team where your ideas and experience make a real difference.
Stability – Benefit from long-term secured frameworks and a healthy pipeline of work.
The Role

You'll be responsible for delivering multiple projects safely, on time, and within budget while maintaining strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and site teams.

Key Responsibilities

Manage projects from tender through to successful completion.
Oversee budgets, programmes, resources, and commercial performance.
Ensure high standards of health & safety, quality, and environmental compliance.
Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships.
Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, suppliers, plant, and materials.
Travel to project sites as required.
About You

You'll be an experienced Project Manager or Site Agent with a background in civil engineering and/or renewables who enjoys taking ownership, solving problems, and delivering high-quality projects.

You'll also have:

Experience managing projects across the full lifecycle.
Strong commercial awareness and organisational skills.
Excellent leadership and stakeholder management abilities.
A proactive, solutions-focused approach.
A relevant degree or equivalent qualification.
Legal Information:

We act as an employment agency for permanent work and as an employment business for temporary work.

For roles in the UK, applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK.

We value diversity and promote equality. No terminology in this advert is intended to discriminate against any of the protected characteristics that fall under the Equality Act 2010. We encourage and welcome applications from all areas of society and can discuss any reasonable adjustments to support your application
