Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging Humanities lessons across KS3 and KS4.
Plan and adapt lessons to meet the needs of all learners.
Inspire students to develop analytical, evaluative and independent thinking skills.
Assess, monitor and support student progress.
Maintain a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to contribute to the success of the Humanities department.
Uphold the school's safeguarding policies and high expectations for behaviour and achievement.
Candidate Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching Humanities within a secondary school setting.
Strong subject knowledge across one or more Humanities disciplines.
Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
A creative and engaging teaching style.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
