This is an exciting opportunity to join a dedicated and supportive team, teaching Physical Education to students aged 11-19 within a specialist setting. The school caters for pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, providing a nurturing environment where positive relationships, resilience and personal development are at the heart of everything they do.
The successful candidate will:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Have experience teaching PE across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 experience is desirable but not essential).
Be passionate about promoting physical activity, teamwork and healthy lifestyles.
Be confident in creating engaging, inclusive lessons that motivate and inspire students.
Demonstrate excellent behaviour management skills and a commitment to supporting young people with additional needs.In return, you will benefit from:
