Overview

I am currently recruiting for an Occupational Therapist to work with my client in Didcot, Oxfordshire.

You will be joining a supportive Adult Social Care team, carrying out community-based assessments to help adults remain safe and independent in their own homes. This is a varied role with a strong focus on person-centred practice, rehabilitation and promoting independence.

Your responsibilities will include completing functional and Care Act assessments, recommending equipment and adaptations, carrying out moving and handling assessments, and working closely with Social Workers and other healthcare professionals to achieve the best outcomes for service users.

The majority of your time will be spent working from home or completing community visits, with office attendance required a minimum of once per week.

The contract is 37 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 9:00am-5:00pm and Friday 9:00am-4:30pm.

This is a long-term locum contract with an immediate start available.

Requirements

At least 1 year's postgraduate experience
HCPC registered
Bachelor's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy recognised by relevant professional bodies
Adult Social Care experience is preferred
Clear DBS (we can put this in process for you)What's on offer
