If you take pride in precision work and know your way around CNC machinery, this is a role worth looking at. A well-established engineering business in Poole is looking for an experienced CNC Gear Cutter who can hit the ground running and produce high-quality components consistently.

As a CNC Gear Cutter, your responsibilities will include:

Setting and operating CNC gear cutting machinery to produce components to drawing specification
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and tolerances accurately
Carrying out first-off and in-process inspection to ensure quality standards are met
Selecting appropriate tooling and making adjustments to maintain accuracy
Completing relevant documentation and quality records
Working to production schedules and flagging any issues to the supervisor
As a CNC Gear Cutter, your experience will include:

Proven experience as a CNC Gear Cutter, CNC Setter/Operator, or similar precision machining role
Ability to set and operate CNC machinery with confidence and minimal supervision
Strong understanding of engineering drawings and machining tolerances
Experience working in a precision engineering or manufacturing environment
A methodical approach and a high standard of workmanship
