Paint Sprayer – Manufacturing – £3k Signing Bonus
Denham | £35,500 | Permanent | Days
We're recruiting an experienced Paint Sprayer to join a globally recognised aerospace manufacturer in Denham. This is industrial manufacturing spray work on safety-critical aviation components — not automotive body repair — so precision and consistency matter more than speed.
The Role
• Applying primers, topcoats, lacquers and specialist coatings (including dry film lubricants) to engineering components using spray guns
• Working to technical specifications and engineering drawings
• Masking components using tapes, plugs and bungs to precise requirements
• Setting and operating curing ovens to specified temperatures and durations
• Inspecting finished work — visual checks plus measuring paint thickness and gloss levels
• Unmasking and touching up components as required
• Maintaining spray booth equipment, pumps and machinery
• Managing stock levels on SAP and ensuring batch traceability
What We're Looking For
• Proven spray painting experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment (automotive body shop experience won't be a fit here)
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
• Good manual dexterity and a sharp eye for detail
• Understanding of H&S procedures and COSHH regulations
• Basic IT skills and confidence using hand tools
• Flexibility to work double day shifts
• GCSEs (A–C) in Maths and English
What's on Offer
• £35,500 base salary, plus 22.5% shift allowance every second week
• £3,000 signing bonus, paid within the first year
• Double day shifts: Earlies 06:00–14:00 Mon–Thu / 06:00–12:00 Fri, Afters 13:45–22:00 Mon–Thu / 11:45–15:00 Fri
• Strong benefits package
• Genuine progression opportunities
• Stable, long-term work backed by over a decade of secured contracts
This is a permanent role with a leading name in aerospace manufacturing, working on safety-critical components where precision and quality are non-negotiable.
