The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced UK Operations Manager to lead production and operational performance across multiple UK sites, as well as several remote locations across the UK and Ireland.
You'll play a key role in driving efficiency, leading teams, managing major capital projects and ensuring the highest standards across safety, quality and environmental performance.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations across multiple production facilities and remote sites
Lead, develop and motivate cross-functional teams, promoting a culture of continuous improvement
Identify and implement process improvements to drive efficiency, reduce waste and enhance productivity
Manage operational budgets and ensure cost-effective use of resources
Collaborate closely with supply chain and commercial teams to ensure seamless operations
Ensure full compliance with health & safety, environmental and regulatory standards
Develop and track KPIs across production, safety and quality metrics
Lead and deliver capital expenditure (CapEx) projects in line with strategic goals
Oversee maintenance and engineering functions to ensure equipment reliability and optimisationAbout You
Proven experience in an operations management role, ideally within chemicals, manufacturing or process industries
Strong knowledge of production processes, engineering principles and quality control
Experience managing budgets and delivering capital projects
Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
Robust understanding of health, safety and environmental compliance (NEBOSH or IOSH qualification preferred)
A proactive, improvement-driven mindset with the confidence to challenge and enhance processes
IT literate, including Microsoft Office
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularlyWhat's on Offer
