Our client is looking for a motivated individual who is committed to improving outcomes for children and young people, with a strong anti-discriminatory and anti-oppressive approach. The role involves working collaboratively with children, families, and partner agencies at child protection and care proceedings level, undertaking statutory duties including assessments, care and support planning, and direct work to reduce risk and improve outcomes.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong assessment skills, sound knowledge of safeguarding and thresholds, and the ability to manage a varied caseload while maintaining high-quality records and reports. You will be confident working in multi-agency settings and, where needed, within court proceedings. The Family Support Team promotes a reflective, supportive culture with regular supervision, strong peer support, and a focus on staff wellbeing. We are committed to creating an inclusive environment where practitioners feel valued and empowered to deliver high-quality, child-centred practice and achieve meaningful outcomes for families.

You will engage with families who are subject to Child Protection Plans and CASP, This will include all associated tasks.
