We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Project Manager to join our team based in Irvine!

We’re seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager who thrives on complex, design-led projects and enjoys delivering results in highly regulated environments. You’ll lead multidisciplinary teams across the Chemical, Petrochemical, Oil & Gas, Nuclear, and Life Science sectors.

This role is also part of a clear succession plan and is ideally suited to an ambitious professional looking to progress into a more senior leadership position.

Our staff are offered full hybrid working policy that includes a mix of days in the office and remote working days.

Ideally looking for candidates to have the following skills:

8+ years' project management experience
Familiarity of working within design project management space
Select, lead and motivate your project team from both internal and external stakeholder organisations
Main point of contact with client.
Commercial point of contact with client.
Familiar with project execution methodology & standards.
Initiate the project - check feasibility, review proposal and work out, teams and resources
Develop and maintain project plan in conjunction with client & lead engineers, this will include setting goals and objectives, defining roles and producing schedules and timelines for tasks - in accordance with the needs of your client.
Prepare progress reports for client & management (on agreed regularity).
Co-ordinate and monitor site activities.
General administration of the Project.
Project change control
Carry out monitoring and control activities in order to track the progress of the project (for both schedule & budget)
Identify and manage risks to ensure delivery is on time
Close the project - including evaluating successes and challenges to enhance learning for your next project.
Adherence to client contract conditions
Full commercial tracking of project (incl. correct invoicing, change notices and budget tracking)
Experience of working on engineering projects
