Performance & Business Analyst (Housing Services)

Interim – 4 months | £400 per day | South-East based

If you’re a data-driven problem solver who thrives on turning insight into action, this interim opportunity offers the chance to make a meaningful impact across Housing Services during a period of transformation.

We’re recruiting on behalf of a South-East based organisation for an experienced Performance & Business Analyst who can strengthen performance reporting, improve data quality, and support service improvement through robust analysis and process redesign.

About the Role

You’ll play a key role in helping Housing Services understand how they’re performing and where improvements can be made. Working closely with operational managers and senior leaders, you’ll develop meaningful KPIs, build insightful dashboards, and provide clear analysis that drives better outcomes for residents.

Your work will directly support regulatory compliance, strategic decision-making, and the redesign of business processes across high‑priority areas such as repairs, voids, and damp & mould.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and performance reports for managers, leadership teams, committees, and regulators.

* Analyse quantitative and qualitative data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.

* Lead on KPI development and monitoring across Housing Services.

* Ensure data quality, consistency, and accuracy across all performance reporting, including TSMs and regulatory submissions.

* Contribute to the development of data warehouse and business intelligence solutions.

* Map and redesign business processes, documenting as‑is and supporting the creation of to‑be processes.

* Support system changes through data mapping and user acceptance testing.

* Present analytical findings clearly to non‑technical audiences.

What You’ll Bring

* Strong experience in performance analysis, business intelligence, or data analytics.

* Proficiency in Power BI, Excel, and working with databases.

* Ability to communicate complex information simply and effectively.

* Experience developing KPIs and working within performance management frameworks.

* Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem‑solving skills.

* Experience in housing, local government, or public sector (desirable).

* Knowledge of housing performance measures, TSMs, and regulatory standards (desirable).
