About the Role

We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Sales Order Processor to join our client’s team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately processing customer orders, ensuring excellent customer service, and supporting the sales team with efficient order management. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Process customer sales orders accurately and efficiently.

* Verify order details, pricing, product availability, and delivery requirements.

* Liaise with customers regarding order queries, amendments, and delivery updates.

* Coordinate with warehouse, logistics, and production teams to ensure timely order fulfilment.

* Generate quotations, invoices, and order confirmations.

* Maintain accurate customer and order records within the ERP/CRM system.

* Monitor order progress and proactively resolve any issues or delays.

* Handle customer enquiries via phone and email in a professional manner.

* Support the sales team with administrative tasks and reporting.

* Ensure compliance with company procedures and service standards.

Skills & Experience

Essential:

* Previous experience in a sales order processing, customer service, or sales administration role.

* Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.

* Excellent organisational and time management skills.

* Confident communicator with strong customer service skills.

* Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.

* Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.

Desirable:

* Experience in a manufacturing, distribution, or wholesale environment.

* Knowledge of stock control and logistics processes.

Personal Attributes

* Positive, proactive, and reliable.

* Strong problem-solving skills.

* Team player with the ability to work independently.

* Professional and customer-focused.

* Flexible and adaptable to changing business needs.
