We are looking to recruit a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join theCommercial Team in our North-East region. The main purpose of the role is to fulfil Senior Surveying commercial duties on a single or a number of projects within Miller Homes Limited

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Procurement of sub-contract trades and reconciliation of material purchase orders placed by Buyers

* Consolidation and analysis of monthly commercial reports

* Liaising with the finance teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting of live developments is maintained

* Mentoring of Junior team members

REQUIREMENTS:

* Surveying skills gained with a recognised house builder or within the wider construction sector with the ability to work to set monthly reporting timescales.

* Knowledge and experience with software systems used within a Commercial role (Cognos/Anaplan and JDE desirable)

* Must be capable of being a good team player and be able to interact with other departments

* Organised and able to manage multiple projects and demands on workload at any one time
