The Role

We are looking for an experienced Manual Machinist / Toolmaker to join our small, skilled team on a part-time basis (2-3 days per week).
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a traditional engineering environment, producing bespoke tooling and components to high standards.

Key Responsibilities

* Operating manual milling machines, manual lathes, and surface grinders

* Working from engineering drawings to produce precision parts and tools

* Occasional use of Hurco CNC milling machines (experience beneficial but not essential)

* Ensuring accuracy, quality, and safe working practices

* Assisting with general workshop duties as needed

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

* Experienced in manual machining and toolmaking

* Punctual, reliable, and self-motivated

* Keen and enthusiastic with a good eye for detail

* Able to work independently with minimal supervision

* Flexible and adaptable to varying workloads
