Job Title: Secondary School Cover Supervisor
Provide Education is seeking a confident and reliable Cover Supervisor to join a well-established secondary school in Location, rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted.
This is a full-time, long-term position to start in September 2026 of the academic year, providing classroom cover across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4).
The school has a strong behaviour policy in place and a supportive senior leadership team, making it an excellent environment for a Cover Supervisor looking to gain experience in a secondary school setting.
Secondary School Cover Supervisor benefits:
Competitive daily rate (£95 – £120 per day, dependent on experience)
PAYE paid weekly
Long-term stability for the remainder of the academic year

Secondary School Cover Supervisor role requirements:
Previous experience working with young people (school-based desirable)
Confident managing a classroom independently
Strong behaviour management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A proactive and adaptable approach
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply through The Education Specialists
The successful Secondary School Cover Supervisor will:
Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects
Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
Ensure pupils remain engaged and on task
Provide feedback to teaching staff on pupil progress and behaviour
Support a positive and structured learning environment
Build strong relationships with pupils and staff
