Job Title: Trainee Teaching Assistant
Provide Education is seeking a proactive and supportive Trainee Primary Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Leeds, supporting pupils across the classroom to help them engage with learning.
This is a full-time, long-term position, working closely with the class teacher to support pupils across EYFS, Key Stage 1 (KS1) or Key Stage 2 (KS2).
The school has a strong focus on inclusive learning and pupil development, with a supportive staff team and a positive learning environment, making it an excellent opportunity for a Primary Teaching Assistant looking to develop their experience in a school setting.
Trainee Teaching Assistant benefits:

Trainee Teaching Assistant role requirements:
Previous experience working with children or young people (school-based desirable)

• A patient, proactive and supportive approach
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
• Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply
The successful Trainee Teaching Assistant will:
Support pupils in the classroom on a 1:1 and small group basis
• Assist the teacher with lesson delivery and classroom activities
• Encourage pupil engagement and participation
• Support behaviour management using positive strategies
• Help create an inclusive and supportive learning environment
• Work collaboratively with teaching staff and support teams
