Are you an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant passionate about supporting children with additional needs?
The Supply Register is working in partnership with the L.E.A.D Academy Trust to recruit a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant for Sir Edmund Hillary Primary Academy in Worksop.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to make a meaningful impact by supporting pupils’ learning, development, confidence, and wellbeing within a welcoming primary school environment.
We are looking for candidates with experience supporting children with SEND, additional learning needs, or complex needs, who can provide a nurturing and consistent approach in the classroom.
The role may include:
• Providing 1:1 and small group support for pupils with additional needs
• Supporting children to access learning and achieve their goals
• Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement
• Working alongside teachers and the wider support team
• Helping create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
We’re looking for candidates who:
• Have previous experience working with children with additional needs
• Understand the importance of SEND support strategies
• Are patient, resilient, and compassionate
• Have strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Can support pupils’ emotional, social, and academic development
• Are passionate about helping every child reach their potential
