Luma Education Recruitment are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant (Learning Support Assistant / Pastoral Mentor / Classroom Assistant) to support and guide pupils of all abilities, including SEN, SEMH, ASD, and ADHD, helping them thrive every day in a positive, engaging environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide 1:1 and small group support
* Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons
* Implement behaviour strategies
* Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
* Help maintain a calm, positive classroom environment
Requirements:
* Flexible and adaptable to different classroom environments
* Positive, encouraging attitude to help children reach their potential
* School or youth work experience
* Confident supporting pupils with behavioural needs
* Patient, resilient, and proactive approach
* Enhanced DBS (on Update Service) required prior to starting
