Joining the team as a Machine Minder, you'll be at the heart of a busy production operation where quality, efficiency and safety go hand in hand. You'll take ownership of key equipment, help keep production moving smoothly, and play an important role in delivering products that meet the highest standards.

Your responsibilities as Machine Minder
Operate production equipment safely and efficiently to achieve daily output targets
Carry out machine interventions, first-line fault finding and routine equipment checks
Complete start-up, shutdown, cleaning and inspection procedures in line with standards
Monitor performance data, quality measures and process controls to maintain production efficiency
Support audits, GMP requirements and waste reduction initiatives across the department
Record equipment issues accurately and escalate technical problems for resolution when required
What we’re looking for in a Machine Minder
Experience within a manufacturing or production environment is advantageous
Ability to operate machinery safely and follow established procedures
Basic English and numeracy skills for recording information and completing checks
Understanding of quality control processes and production standards
Ability to complete manual handling activities and equipment inspections as required
Working Hours & Pay Rates
Monday—Thursday: 06:00-15:00
Friday: 06:00 – 14:30
Some flexibility is required, including starting earlier/finishing later when needed.
Basic rate - £13.00 - £13.99 per hour
Overtime - £16.41 - £17.49 per hour
Weekends & Bank Holidays - £19.70 - £20.99 per hour
