Engineering
Immediate Start
£50k - £60k Annual
Full-Time
Multi Skilled Engineer (Electrical Bias) | Leeds | £58,000
3 Shift Pattern | Training & Progression | Growing Manufacturing Business

Most maintenance engineer roles involve turning up, fixing what's broken and going home. This one's a bit different.

You'll be the technical lead on shift, the person the shift leader leans on, the one the rest of the team comes to when something's not straightforward. Day to day that means fault finding on electrical and PLC-controlled equipment, planned and reactive maintenance across mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems and getting involved in improvement work that actually reduces the number of times the same fault comes back.

The site runs modern production lines and there's genuine scope to get involved in installations, commissioning and CI projects rather than just keeping the lights on.

To be considered you'll need:

* NVQ Level 3 or time-served apprenticeship (electrical bias)

* Solid electrical fault finding experience

* PLC fault finding, programming knowledge is a bonus

* A manufacturing background

More important than ticking every box is the right mindset someone who works to root cause, takes ownership on shift and wants to improve how the place runs rather than just react to it.

Send me your CV and I'll get try get back to you within 24 hours.
