We are currently hiring Sub-Assembly Operatives to join a leading manufacturer. You will be in a busy workshop environment and responsible for the manufacture or assembly of components in accordance with drawings or customers’ requirements

Hours: Monday to Thursday 7am-4pm Friday 7am-1pm

Type: Temp ongoing

Location: Lye, DY9

Key Responsibilities:

* Delivering high-quality finishes in a workshop environment while maintaining excellent safety and quality standards.

* Advising Department Section Leader of defective tooling, jigs or fixtures or manufacturing problems that prevent production targets being achieved.

* Inspecting, identifying and packing company products.

* Ensuring that housekeeping of work area is maintained.

* Adhering to all relevant ISO processes and policies.

* Assistance in working for other departments when necessary.

* Any other ad hoc duties as required.

Requirements:

* Previous mechanical and/or electrical assembly experience.

* Reliability and good communication skills.

* Able to use hand tools.

* Ideally candidates will have their own means of transport to allow for occasional movement between sites, as the business needs.
