Are you a compassionate, patient, and dedicated Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)?
We are looking for caring and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to work in welcoming schools across Manchester, supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, Speech & Language needs, Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH), and Moderate to Severe Learning Difficulties.
This is a rewarding opportunity to help children achieve their full potential in a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
Your Role:
Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEND.
Assist teachers in delivering personalised learning activities.
Encourage independence, confidence, and social development.
Support pupils with emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies.
Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents to promote positive outcomes.
What We're Looking For:
Experience working with children or young people with SEND (school or care setting preferred).
A caring, patient, and adaptable approach.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable but not essential.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
