Are you an experienced front-of-house professional with a flair for administration? This is a fantastic short-term opportunity to support a pioneering biotechnology company that is advancing personalised healthcare through cutting-edge blood tests. You will play a key role in creating a positive first impression for visitors and providing essential administrative support during a busy period, helping ensure smooth daily operations. This role offers the chance to develop your skills within a forward-thinking organisation committed to innovation and excellence.

Please note, this is a temporary position paid on a weekly PAYE basis and will require an immediate start; notice periods cannot be accommodated.

Reception & Administration Support Responsibilities

This position will involve, but will not be limited to:

Ensuring an efficient front-of-house reception service, greeting visitors and managing incoming phone calls to deliver excellent customer service and uphold the company’s professional image
Assisting the Operations Director and team with administrative duties including scheduling, correspondence, and document management to support daily operational needs
Providing coverage for absences within the Customer Service team
Managing visitor access and ensuring the reception area remains presentable and welcoming
Supporting ad hoc tasks such as organising meetings, preparing materials, and assisting colleagues, demonstrating a proactive approach to team support
Maintaining accurate records and filing systems to enhance efficiency and accountability

Reception & Administration Support Experience Essentials

Proven experience working on a corporate reception desk or in a customer-facing administrative role
Confident in engaging with senior professionals and external stakeholders with a polished, professional manner
IT literacy with full proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
Positive, adaptable attitude with a proactive approach to tasks
Strong team player committed to excellent service delivery
Location

Based in OX4, there is ample parking onsite.
