Remedy Tutors is seeking a compassionate and experienced Qualified Teacher (QTS/QTLS) to provide 1:1 face-to-face tuition for a primary-aged pupil in the LN12 area of Lincolnshire.
This role involves delivering tuition within the pupil's home, with sessions supervised by a parent, carer, or another appropriate adult. The successful tutor will play a key role in helping the learner develop confidence, engage in structured learning, and prepare for a successful transition back into a school environment.
The Role
* 1:1 home-based tuition
* 2 hours per day, Monday to Friday (10 hours per week)
* Deliver engaging lessons with a focus on Maths, English and PSHE
* Embed learning objectives across subjects where appropriate
* Follow EHCP outcomes and adapt teaching to meet the learner's individual needs
About the Learner
The pupil is a primary-aged child with additional needs who benefits from:
* A calm, patient and nurturing approach
* Clear routines and predictable sessions
* Simple communication and visual supports
* Individualised teaching tailored to their pace of learning
* Support with communication, emotional regulation and social interaction
The learner enjoys books, numbers, colours, puzzles and interactive activities, and responds well to positive relationships with familiar adults.
The Ideal Tutor
We are looking for someone who:
* Holds QTS or QTLS
* Has experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including autism and communication needs
* Can deliver engaging, personalised learning in a home environment
* Is patient, flexible and committed to building a trusting relationship
* Has experience working with EHCP outcomes
