We're recruiting for an experienced Engineering Services Manager to lead the day-to-day delivery of enterprise IT services across Infrastructure, Networks and End User Computing.
This is a hands-on leadership role, responsible for ensuring high service performance, driving continual improvement and supporting the development of a multi-disciplinary engineering team. Working closely with senior technical leadership, you'll help shape service delivery, manage operational risk and oversee the successful transition of new technologies into BAU support.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the day-to-day delivery of Engineering Services across Infrastructure, Networks and End User Devices.
* Ensure effective delivery of Incident, Request and Problem Management, meeting agreed SLAs and KPIs.
* Drive continual service improvement across people, processes and technology.
* Manage operational risks, governance and compliance activities.
* Support Agile/PI planning and coordinate engineering priorities.
* Lead service transition for new technologies into operational support.
* Coach and develop technical teams, promoting collaboration and continuous improvement.
* Work closely with technical stakeholders to improve service delivery and operational performance.
About You
You'll have experience leading technical engineering or infrastructure teams within a complex enterprise environment and possess strong knowledge of:
* Enterprise Infrastructure, Networks and End User Computing
* Microsoft 365, Azure and/or AWS
* IT Service Management (ITIL, Incident, Problem & Request Management)
* ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools
* Jira and Confluence
* IT security and compliance standards (ISO27001, Cyber Essentials, CIS)
* Service improvement, governance and operational risk management
You'll be a collaborative leader with excellent stakeholder management skills and a passion for delivering high-quality IT services.
