Associate / Associate Director - Town Planning
Salary: £50,000 - £80,000 DOE + Benefits
Location: Colchester
I'm currently working with a highly regarded planning and design consultancy that is looking to appoint an experienced Associate or Associate Director to join its growing team in Colchester.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious planning professional ready to take on a senior leadership role, managing a diverse portfolio of residential, mixed-use and strategic development projects across England and Wales. You'll play a key role in leading projects, developing client relationships, mentoring junior planners and contributing to the continued growth of the business.

Key Responsibilities
·Lead and oversee a wide range of planning projects from inception through to determination.
·Manage key client relationships and provide strategic planning advice.
·Prepare and review complex planning applications, appeals and planning strategies.
·Mentor and support junior members of the planning team.
·Identify new business opportunities and contribute to business development activities.
·Represent clients in meetings with local authorities, stakeholders and consultants.
About You
·MRTPI qualified with significant post-qualification planning experience.
·Proven experience delivering residential, mixed-use and strategic development projects.
·Strong knowledge of the UK planning system and planning policy.
·Experience managing clients, projects and multidisciplinary teams.
·Commercially aware with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
·A proactive leader with the ambition to help shape and grow a successful planning team.
