Workshop Administrator – Doncaster – c.£28k
A permanent position for an organised and efficient administrator to support workshop activities, ensuring effective collaboration between the sales, service, rental and transport departments while maintaining control of work in progress, costs, compliance and customer service standards.
As the workshop administrator, you will:
Create, update and close all work in progress records, process and input engineer timesheets, job sheets and parts invoices, maintaining accurate workshop diaries and job tracking systems.
Take incoming calls from customers and action as necessary, liaising with sales, service and rental teams to coordinate workflow and stock, including arranging transport and providing full logistical support to ensure equipment availability and timely delivery.
Ensure all machinery has undergone the correct checks (LOLER), maintaining H&S records and safety documentation to ensure compliance standards are met.
Produce, analyse and maintain key operational reports including: Stock lists, warranty and transport movement logs, ensuring all reporting data is accurate, complete and aligned to controls.
Provide professional, timely and accurate communication with internal and external customers.

Have strong organisational and administrative skills with good working knowledge of systems (e.g. Kerridge or similar) as well as MS Office.
