The Role

As a Community Care Assistant, you will support clients within their own homes, helping them maintain their independence, dignity and quality of life.

You will provide high-quality person-centred care tailored to each individual's needs while building trusted relationships with clients and their families.

Your duties will include:

Supporting clients with personal care, including washing, dressing and grooming
Assisting with mobility and daily living activities
Supporting with medication in line with care plans
Preparing meals and encouraging nutrition and hydration
Undertaking light household duties, including cleaning and laundry
Providing companionship and emotional support
Supporting clients to attend appointments and access their local community
Encouraging independence and promoting choice
Maintaining accurate care records
Reporting changes in clients' wellbeing to the senior team
Working closely with colleagues, families and healthcare professionals
About You

Our client is looking for individuals who genuinely care about making a difference to people's lives.

You will have:

A caring, compassionate and patient nature
A positive attitude and willingness to learn
Good communication skills
Reliability and a strong work ethic
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
No care experience is necessary. Our client is looking for the right attitude and will provide full training, a comprehensive induction and a one-week shadowing programme to help you succeed.
