Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for a MIG Welder on behalf of our client based in Braintree, on a temp to perm basis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out high-quality welding and fabrication work. Immediate start available.

Hours: Monday to Friday, full time

Salary: Up to £18.00 per hour (DOE)

Benefits: Temp to perm opportunity, overtime available, weekly pay

Role & Responsibilities

* MIG welding mild steel to a high standard

* Reading and interpreting technical drawings

* Fabricating and assembling metal components

* Operating welding and fabrication machinery safely

* Inspecting finished welds to ensure quality standards

* Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

* Working as part of a team to meet production deadlines

* Adhering to all health and safety regulations

Experience, Education & Qualifications

* Proven experience in MIG welding

* Ability to read and work from engineering drawings

* Strong attention to detail

* Good understanding of fabrication processes

* Reliable and hard working

* Own transport preferred
