Tradewind are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic SEND Teaching Assistants in Wolverhampton to join their supportive team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about working with children with additional needs and is motivated to make a positive impact every single day.

About the School

The schools i work with provide specialist education for pupils from KS2- KS5 with a range of needs from Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH), Profound & Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD), Complex Learning Difficulties & Disabilities (CLDD) and Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD) and so much more. They pride themselves on a warm, nurturing, therapeutic and inclusive ethos, with a strong emphasis on personalised learning and creating a safe environment where every child is supported to reach their full potential.

The Role

We are looking for Teaching Assistants who are:

Experienced in supporting children with SEND

Flexible and confident in adapting to a variety of needs and routines

Proactive, using initiative to support learning in the classroom

Key Responsibilities

Your role will include:

Supporting pupils with severe and complex needs on a 1:1 basis or in small groups

Assisting the class teacher with individualised learning activities

Supporting pupils with communication, engagement, and personal development

Helping to maintain a positive, structured, and safe learning environment

Working Pattern

This position is offered on a daily supply basis, providing flexibility to suit your schedule. There are also opportunities for longer-term placements, allowing you to build meaningful relationships with both pupils and staff.
