We are looking for a driven Product Manager to join a highly innovative, engineering-led organisation operating at the forefront of subsea technology. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong technical or engineering background to take ownership of a cutting-edge product portfolio used in complex marine and offshore environments.
The business develops advanced positioning, navigation, and sensor-based systems used globally in mission-critical subsea operations. Due to continued growth, they are looking to strengthen their product capability to ensure solutions remain market-leading, customer-focused, and commercially successful.
You will act as the key interface between engineering, customers, and the commercial teams, driving the product strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle from concept through to delivery and ongoing evolution.
Key Responsibilities:
Defining and owning the product strategy and roadmap for a portfolio of advanced engineering systems
Working closely with engineering teams to translate customer needs into technical requirements
Managing the full product lifecycle from concept, development, and launch through to support and enhancement
Engaging with customers and end users to understand requirements and market trends
Supporting commercial teams with product positioning, pricing, and go-to-market strategies
Ensuring products meet performance, reliability, and usability expectations in operational environments
Collaborating with systems, software, and hardware teams to deliver integrated solutions
Monitoring product performance and driving continuous improvement
Key Skills
Proven experience as a Product Manager within an engineering, software, or technical environment
Strong understanding of complex systems or hardware-software integration
Ability to translate technical detail into commercial value propositions
Experience working closely with engineering teams (software, systems, or electronics)
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Commercial awareness and ability to drive product decisions based on market needs
Experience managing product roadmaps and lifecycle delivery
Desirable skills:
Experience in subsea, marine, offshore, or geospatial technology sectors
Understanding of acoustic positioning, navigation, or sensor-based systems
Background in engineering (software, electronics, systems or similar)
Experience with real-time data systems or complex instrumentation
Familiarity with Agile development environments
