We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading company within the UK's automotive service industry, for an experienced MOT Tester to join their busy Bristol centre. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled professionals seeking a reputable employer that values expertise and offers clear career development.

Clear career progression pathwaysDuties of a MOT Tester:
Conduct MOT tests in accordance with Government standards, ensuring vehicle safety and compliance
Support customers through the MOT process by providing updates and clear explanations regarding test results, including reasons for any failures
Support the workshop team by diagnosing and carrying out associated vehicle service and repair work when required
Promote excellent customer service by building and maintaining lasting client relationships
Work efficiently within a team to ensure smooth workflow and uphold workshop standards as an MOT Tester
Assist in the general support of workshop activities as neededRequirements of a MOT Tester:
Valid Class 4 and 7 MOT testing licence
Full UK driving licence with minimal points
Ideally hold IMI/NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent qualification
Alternatively, comprehensive experience as a vehicle mechanic supported by an active MOT licence
Strong team player with excellent communication skills
