Primary Teaching Assistant

A mainstream primary school in East London is looking for a confident and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant (TA) to join their team on an ongoing supply basis, with opportunities that can lead to long-term and potentially permanent positions.

This is a full-time role, working across the primary age range, supporting teaching and learning while helping pupils remain engaged and make progress in the classroom.

Position details:

· Teaching Assistant (TA) – Mainstream Primary School in East London

· Start: ASAP

· Contract: Ongoing supply with potential for long-term and permanent opportunities

· Hours: Full-time, 5 days per week

· Supporting teaching and learning across the primary age range

· Working closely with teachers and support staff to promote pupil progress and engagement

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

· Previous experience working in a mainstream primary school setting (essential)

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills

· A patient, supportive, and proactive approach

· The ability to work effectively as part of a team

· A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development

· Must be fully clear (DBS and compliance checks)
