Plasterer - Social Housing (Damp & Mould Contract)
Location: Barnsley
Job Type: Full-Time / Ongoing Contract
Hours: 8 hours per day, Monday to Friday
Rate: Competitive (DOE)
We are currently looking for an experienced Plasterer to join our team working on a Social Housing Damp & Mould Contract.
This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable tradesperson to secure long-term work with a well-established contractor.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out plastering repairs following damp and mould remediation works.
Patch plastering, skimming, bonding and making good to a high standard.
Prepare surfaces prior to plaster application.
Work in occupied and void social housing properties.
Maintain a clean, safe and professional working environment.
Deliver excellent customer service while working in tenants' homes.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a plasterer, ideally within social housing or domestic maintenance.
Full UK driving licence (preferred).
Own tools.
CSCS card (preferred but not essential depending on the contract).
Ability to work independently and manage your daily workload.
Strong attention to detail and high-quality workmanship.
