Employment Type: Permanent - Full Time

Hours: 40 Hours per week

Location: Waltham Forest

Salary - £42,000

Overview

We are seeking two skilled and reliable Electricians to join our Repairs and Maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality electrical services across a dedicated social housing portfolio. You will work within a fast-paced environment, ensuring that all residents receive a safe, efficient, and professional service.

The Role

As a key member of our field team, you will undertake a variety of electrical tasks, including:

Repairs & Maintenance: General electrical fault finding and remedial works.

Testing & Inspection: Carrying out routine testing to ensure regulatory compliance.

Installation: Completing upgrades and new installation works across residential properties.

Digital Reporting: Using a handheld mobile device to manage work orders and document completions.

You will be expected to work effectively both as an individual and as part of a wider team, utilizing your initiative to diagnose faults and solve problems on-site.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must hold the following qualifications and experience:

Essential Qualifications:

NVQ Level 3 in Electrotechnical Services (Electrical Installation) OR NVQ Diploma in Installing Electrotechnical Systems.

City & Guilds 2360 (Part 2) or Level 3 Certificate in Electrotechnical Technology.

BS7671 18th Edition certification.

City & Guilds 2391 Inspection and Testing (or equivalent).

Valid ECS Gold Card.

Full UK Driving Licence (held for a minimum of 12 months).

Experience:

Proven background in social housing repairs or a similar domestic maintenance environment.

Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.

Experience using digital tablets/handheld devices for workflow management.
