Year 4 Class Teacher

Are you an enthusiastic and committed Key Stage 2 Teacher looking for a rewarding opportunity in a high-performing, supportive school?
We are working in partnership with an Outstanding Primary School in Rochdale that is seeking a Year 4 Teacher to join their team for a full academic year maternity cover from September 2026 through to July 2027.
The Role

Full-time Year 4 class teacher
Planning, preparation and marking responsibilities included
Deliver engaging, well-structured KS2 lessons aligned with the national curriculum
Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners
Work collaboratively with a strong and experienced KS2 teamThe School

Welcoming, well-led leadership team with a clear vision
Strong behaviour culture and engaged pupils
Excellent support from SLT and well-established planning resources
A collaborative staff team with a focus on professional developmentThe Ideal Candidate

Holds QTS (or equivalent UK teaching qualification)
Experience teaching within Key Stage 2 (Year 4 experience desirable but not essential)
Confident in delivering engaging, high-quality lessons
Strong behaviour management and classroom presence
