Resident Support Worker
We're currently recruiting compassionate and reliable Resident Support Workers to join a dedicated supported housing service that provides accommodation and tailored support to adults experiencing homelessness and those with complex needs.
This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference by helping individuals develop the skills and confidence needed to live independently.
The Role
As a Resident Support Worker, you will work within a residential setting, supporting residents on a day-to-day basis while promoting independence, wellbeing and positive outcomes.
Your responsibilities will include:
Providing person-centred support to residents.
Encouraging independent living skills and personal development.
Supporting residents with daily living tasks where required.
Building positive, professional relationships.
Maintaining accurate records and completing incident reports.
Promoting a safe, welcoming and supportive environment.
Working collaboratively with colleagues and external agencies.
Pay: £15.00 per hour + £50.00 Sleep-in Allowance
Shift Pattern
9:00am - 3:00pm
12:00pm - 7:00pm
7:00pm - 12:00am plus sleep-in
What We're Looking For
Experience working within homelessness, supported housing, mental health or complex needs services is desirable.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A caring, resilient and professional approach.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexible to work a rota including evenings and sleep-ins.
