We are currently recruiting for the position of Vehicle Service Advisor on behalf of our client, a reputable franchise-approved car dealership based in Chippenham, Wiltshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced motor trade professionals seeking career progression within a well-established dealership group.

Supportive and professional working environmentDuties of a Service Advisor:
Greet customers promptly and professionally in the service department
Book customer vehicles in for repairs and maintenance as a Service Advisor
Liaise actively with the workshop to monitor progress on repairs
Advise customers on minor technical issues and additional products/services
Upsell where appropriate to enhance revenue
Keep customers informed regarding vehicle progress
Take payments and process documentation accurately
Support warranty authorisations and liaise with manufacturers as required
Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent communication and service standards
Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet departmental targets and objectivesRequirements of a Service Advisor:
Proven experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar customer service role within the motor industry
Confident relationship-building and communication skills
Strong organisational skills and IT proficiency; experience with Kerridge/Drive DMS is advantageous but not essential
Knowledge of automotive warranty procedures is desirable but not mandatory
Valid UK driving licence with minimal points
Passion for automotive retail and customer service excellenceThis role offers a structured working week from 8:00am to 6:00pm, Monday to Friday, with every other Saturday morning shift. Our client provides comprehensive training, career advancement opportunities, and a supportive team environment.
