Salary: £34,862 per annum + Excellent Benefits!
Contract: Full time, permanent – Monday – Friday 08.00am – 16.30pm

We are currently seeking a Skilled Printer to join our production team. This is an exciting opportunity to operate and lead flexographic print processes within a fast-paced, high-quality manufacturing environment.
Reporting to the Production Manager, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional print standards while maintaining safe, efficient operations.
As our Printer, you will:
* Set up and operate flexographic printing machinery safely and efficiently
* Maintain high standards of health, safety, environmental and housekeeping practices
* Monitor and control print quality, ensuring outputs meet production specifications
* Carry out inspections, identify non-conformance issues and resolve defects
* Ensure compliance with standards such as BRC, ISO, and A2 permits
* Perform press changeovers and minimise waste in line with KPIs
* Troubleshoot and resolve print and machine issues
* Complete all documentation and electronic records accurately and on time
* Support lean manufacturing initiatives (5S, SMED, continuous improvement)
* Conduct clear and effective shift handovers
In order to be successful in this role you must have:
* Proven experience as a Flexographic Printer
* Relevant qualifications (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 or 3 advantageous)
* Strong background in packaging or label printing manufacturing
* Experience with Bobst printing machines (desirable)
* Good literacy and numeracy skills (GCSE or equivalent)
* Understanding of quality, health, safety, and environmental standards
* Exposure to Lean / Six Sigma methodologies (advantageous)
* Plate mounting experience (desirable)
Shift Pattern
This role operates on a 12-hour rotating shift cycle (no weekends):
* Week 1: 2 days, 1 off, 2 nights, 2 off
* Week 2: 3 nights, 6 off
* Week 3: 3 days, 2 off
