We are seeking a Commercial Account Handler to join the organisation, based in the Bradford area. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a salary of up to £35,000 depending on experience.
The Role
This is a varied and engaging position, ideal for someone who enjoys relationship management and wants to continue developing their technical expertise. You’ll manage a small portfolio of clients while supporting wider team activity.
Key responsibilities include:

* Handling renewals, mid-term adjustments (MTAs), and new business enquiries

* Negotiating with insurers and clients to secure the best outcomes

* Issuing accurate and compliant documentation

* Assisting with claims handling

* Supporting Account Executives across a broad commercial portfolio

* Building and maintaining strong, long-term client relationships

This role would suit someone already established as a Commercial Account Handler, or someone ready to step up and take ownership of their own book of business.
About You

* Experience within commercial insurance

* Acturis experience preferred

* Cert CII qualified (or keen to work towards it)

* Strong customer service and relationship-building skills

* Proven track record in client retention

* Professional, proactive, and detail-oriented approach

* Good understanding of FCA and DPA regulations

* Excellent communication skills
