Location: Alton, Hampshire
Salary: £13.00 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 3:00pm – 7:00pm (20 hours per week)

Our client in Alton is looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse & Yard Operative to join their team on an ongoing temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking consistent part-time hours with the potential for long-term work.

The role is split between warehouse and yard duties, so applicants should be comfortable working both indoors and outdoors.

The Role

As a Warehouse & Yard Operative, your duties will include:

Picking, packing, and preparing customer orders

*

Loading and unloading deliveries

*

Moving stock safely around the warehouse and yard

*

Assisting with goods in and goods out

*

Carrying out manual handling duties

*

Keeping work areas clean, organised, and safe

*

Supporting the warehouse team with general operational tasks

The Ideal Candidate

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Previous warehouse, yard, stores, logistics, or production experience (preferred but not essential)

*

A strong work ethic and positive attitude

*

Good attention to detail

*

The ability to work independently and as part of a team

*

Good physical fitness and confidence with manual handling

*

Reliability and excellent timekeeping
