Academics is seeking dedicated SEN Support Assistants to join a number of friendly and welcoming SEN provisions across Batley. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a genuine impact on the lives of pupils who require additional support to thrive both academically and personally.
What You'll Be Doing
Providing one-to-one and small group support for pupils with additional needs.
Encouraging positive behaviour and supporting emotional wellbeing.
Assisting students in achieving their individual learning and developmental targets.
Working collaboratively with teachers and support staff to deliver tailored support.
Creating a nurturing and inclusive environment where every child feels valued and understood.
We'd Love to Hear From You If You Have:
✔ Experience within an SEN setting, school, care environment or youth work setting.
✔ Personal experience supporting individuals with additional needs.
✔ A patient, empathetic and resilient approach.
✔ Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
