Person Specification:
NVQ level 3 Childcare qualification or equivalent
Knowledge of EYFS Curriculum
Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (Desirable)
Paediatric First Aid (Desirable)
Minimum 1-year experience in a similar role
Some of the Nursery Nurse responsibilities will Include:
To work with EYFS Curriculum, set up exciting and inviting activities for children
Promote diversity and equal opportunity
To work in partnership with parents and key interfacing groups
Keyworker responsibilities, maintaining children’s development files
Accurately completing documentation i.e. accident, incident, medication forms
Supporting children at meal times and with personal care
Working to nursery policy and procedures
Attending monthly staff meetings, open days and parent’s evenings as required
