A forward-thinking engineering working on next-generation mechanical technology is looking for a Production Technician to work in their state-of-the-art test workshops. You will be part of a collaborative R&D environment, supporting hands-on product testing that feeds directly into global projects.

What you’ll do

· Set up and operate laboratory equipment and test rigs following established procedures.

· Carry out test activities, record accurate data, and report any deviations or issues.

· Support safety, compliance and routine checks within the test facility.

· Assist with troubleshooting, equipment checks and calibration tasks.

· Work closely with engineers and wider technical teams, providing test data and observations.

· Contribute to 5S, continuous improvement and maintaining an organised lab environment.

What you’ll bring

· Level 3 qualification in Mechanical, Electrical or related engineering discipline, or equivalent technician experience.

· Experience in a complex manufacturing or product testing environment.

· Strong attention to detail, good communication skills and a methodical approach.

· Safety-conscious mindset and willingness to learn new tools and technologies.
